E. Howard Hunt is a former CIA officer who became a key figure in the Watergate scandal.[1] He was also suspected as being a conspirator in the JFK assassination and as one of the three tramps seen under police escort near the Texas School Book Depository shortly after the assassination. [2]
Deathbed confession
On his deathbed, he confessed his role in the JFK assassination as "benchwarmer" and listed other already suspected conspirators and named LBJ as the head organizer.
