Joe Scarborough is a lawyer, TV presenter and was a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 95 to 2001. He is currently the co-host of Morning Joe on MSNBC with his wife Mika Brzezinski.

Career

Scarborough was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991.[1] His's most high-profile case was briefly representing Michael F. Griffin,[2] who murdered Dr. David Gunn in 1993.[3][4][5] He made several court appearances representing Griffin, before removing himself from the case.

Lori Klausutis

Lori Klausutis was an intern for Scarborough who was found dead with a fractured skull in his district office.[6] In 2003, on the Imus in the Morning show, the host said he (Scarborough) is funny and suggested "you said you had sex with an intern and then you had to kill her", to which Scarborough replied "Exactly" with a laughing tone. The conversation continued in a joking manner.[7][8][9]
