Background
Sharon White was born in east London, and went to a single-sex comprehensive school before gaining a place at Cambridge University.[1]
Career
Sharon White quickly worked her way up the ranks as a civil servant, becoming Second Permanent Secretary at the Treasury from 2013 until 2015.[1]
