Origins
Spooky. The group uses a US flag and is quick to label websites (such as this one) Russian Propaganda. It is critical of anyone who are not aligned the US establishment. PropOrNot has refused to identify themselves.The Washington Post described them as “an independent team of concerned American citizens.”

Propornot's claim that the websites on its list were outlets of "Russian propaganda" is an interesting invocation of a cold war image.
