The Colloquium on Clandestine Collection was held in Washington D.C. on 30-31 December 1981.[1] The gathering, convened by the Consortium for the Study of Intelligence, involved "over sixty academics,journalists, current and former senior intelligence specialists, and practitioners serving in both the Executive and Legislative branches of the US government.[2]
