Samuel Halpern was a CIA officer from 1947 to 1974.[1]
Career
Halpern joined the OSS in March 1943, and joined the Strategic Services Unit and then the CIA in 1947. "In the late 1950s Halpern was executive assistant to Desmond FitzGerald, the chief of the Far Eastern Division of the CIA."[2] Halpern was a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers.
