Lady Justice Hallett worked as a UK judge. She was appointed as a coroner with respect to the 7-7 bombings, and to chair an "inquiry" into the UK government's handling of the COVID-19 event.

Career

In the 7-7 case, Hallett decided the verdict of the "inquiry" into alleged pre-attack failings by the UK police and MI5. She was told that it would be "impossible" to reveal MI5 files about the attacks to the bereaved families or their lawyers.[1]

In July 2022, Hallett was appointed to chair the public inquiry into the government's handling of the "Covid pandemic".[2][3]
