Wuhan is a city in China. It came to world prominence after the detection in later 2019 of a COVID-19, a new coronavirus which caused a global pandemic in 2020.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is 8.6km from the seafood market implicated in the first cluster of Chinese COVID-19 cases.
