Hanif Qadir is "a former extremist"[1] who has worked with the Active Change Foundation and the Institute for Statecraft.
Activities
In 2002 Qadir "travelled to Afghanistan to fight for al-Qaeda, but quickly returned"[2] "when he saw the crimes being committed against civilians".[3]
In 2003 he founded the Active Change Foundation.
