The United Nations Office On Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is the UN body which promotes the "war on drugs".
Official narrative
This pushes a "zero tolerance" policy on drugs, promoting the "War on Drugs".
Funding
In 2007, the largest 5 funders were the European Union, Canada, United States, the united Nations and Sweden. Sweden and the US are notable in being leading proponents of the "War on Drugs".
"Terrorism" Prevention
Alex Schmid was Officer-in-Charge of the United Nations' Terrorism Prevention Branch in Vienna from 1999 to 2005.[1]
