Sir Andrew Marley Wood GCMG is a former UK diplomat and member of the Institute for Statecraft.

Activities

Wood famously fell out with Mo Mowlam, then Northern Ireland Secretary, under New Labour and was dismissed. He was then briefly employed to conduct a review of media handling:

'Mr. Wood is conducting a joint Home Office/Northern Ireland Office project concerning the handling of the media during major incidents. It is expected that he will conclude the project during the first half of 1998.[1]

Russo-British Chamber of Commerce

Andrew Wood was a director of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce from 15 December 2003 - 12 July 2007[2], resigning 3 days after the appointment of Stephen Dalziel (also IfS) as secretary and direcrtor.[3]
