Terrorism exercise
Four days in advance, and also the same Friday that the attacks were carried out, a trained police special unit carried out a terror attack exercise that corresponded almost exactly to the situation that hours later met the 22 police officers in the emergency squad on Utøya.[1][2][3]
Purposes
Ole Dammegård suggests that the Norway attacks may have been a false flag by the supranational deep state,[4] influenced by Norway's intention to leave the 2011 Attacks on Libya.[5]
Eskil Pedersen
Eskil Pedersen, the leader of the Workers' Youth League though it was the police intelligence service (PST) executing a coup d'etat. He said this as an explanation for his actions on the day[6], where, very soon after the shooting erupted, Pedersen, along with his political aide, sought refuge on the ferry MS Thorbjørn, and along with seven other people decided to make their escape from the island.[7]
Pedersen later stated that while being at the Hønefoss police headquarters he feared a coup d'etat had taken place, and that he could not trust any member of the police. In an interview with TV2 he stated: "I thought the entire country was under attack […] if we docked anywhere we would be killed."[8] The author Kjartan Fløgstad commented: "Was the though of a coup really such a close thought for the the leader of the youth wing of the state-carrying and governing party? What did this tell about the confidence in the secret services? How could the leader of PST live with this dark shadow of suspicioun hanging over her? How could the state power do so?"[9]
