James Henry Fetzer is an American professor emeritus of the philosophy of science at the University of Minnesota Duluth He has conducted extensive research into the assassination of JFK, the events of 9/11 ,the plane crash that killed Sen. Paul Wellstone, the 2008 Boston Bombing and other deep events. He cofounded Scholars for 9/11 Truth in 2005[1].

James Fetzer graduated from South Pasadena High School in 1958. He then got a degree in philosophy from Princeton University in 1962, where his senior thesis for Carl G. Hempel on the logical structure of explanations of human behavior won The Dickinson Prize. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps, then became an artillery officer and was deployed in the Far East. After a tour supervising recruit training in San Diego, he resigned his commission as a Captain to begin graduate work in the history and philosophy of science at Indiana in 1966. He completed his Ph.D in 1970.[3]
