Activities
In 1980 he joined the World Anti-Communist League.
In 1983, together with three other Cercle members: Jacques Jonet, Paul Vankerkhoven and Nicolas de Kerchove, he founded the European Institute for Peace and Security to counter pacifist groups.
Deep political connections
General Clark was a member of Le Cercle, and influenced by other members who worked to counter the peace movement in the 1980s.
