As leader of the Official Opposition, Poilievre is content to lead by following popular trends, who was too cowardly to defend or meet with the 2022 Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy at the time when it mattered. Only after it became politically safe he would later claim to have supported the resistance to tyranny. Poilievre is still soft on government overreach, medical tyranny, and vaccine mandates - and in 2023 refuses to address vaccine injuries and big pharma's global genocide.[2] Poilievre started from weak positions on the Ukraine conflict.[3]
Twitter: Clyde Do Something, @ClydeDoSomethin :
- I think a Pierre Poilievre government is going to be exhausting.
- Seems he's just behind the curve on a lot of issues and needs the nudging to get on the right page nearly every step of the way.
- Parental rights - no show until backlash
- Team Canada retaliation tariffs - until backlash then pivoted to Borders and Fentanyl.
- Seems he ends up in the right spot, but only when pushed.
- It's like all Canadians will have to set aside time every week to make sure he's still on the right path.

The Conservative Party of Canada
The Conservative Party part is nominally committed to "upholding individual rights and freedom" and equal rights for all Canadians.[4]
COVID-19
Poilievre chose to follow most of the official narrative during Covid. He supported both lockdowns and vaccine mandates when they were being enforced.[5]
Freedom Convoy 2022
Poilievre supported the 2022 Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy[6] (a claim with no substantial action or evidence) protesting about the government overreach, medical tyranny, and vaccine mandates.[7]
Vaccine injuries
In February 2023 he refused to address vaccine injuries and big pharma's global genocide.[8]
Vaccine mandates
In October 2023, "MPs overwhelmingly voted to kill a bill Wednesday pushed by Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre that would have banned Ottawa from again imposing COVID-19 vaccine mandates on federal workers and the travelling public."[9]
2025 Canadian federal election
- More soon.
" The 2025 Canadian federal election will elect members of the House of Commons to the 45th Canadian Parliament. Under the fixed-date provisions of the Canada Elections Act, the election would be held on October 20, 2025, but it may be called earlier if the governor general dissolves Parliament on the recommendation of the prime minister, either for a snap election or after the government loses a vote on a supply bill or a specific motion of no confidence.
