John Henry Steenhuisen is a South African politician who is leader of the Democratic Alliance party.
From October 2019 to June 2024, John Steenhuisen was Leader of the Opposition in the South African parliament.[1]
In May 2022, Steenhuisen went on a six-day “fact-finding mission” to Ukraine, paid for by the Brenthurst Foundation.[2]
John Steenhuisen joined the SA/Government of National Unity following the 2024 South African general election,[3] and was appointed Minister of Agriculture by President Cyril Ramaphosa.[4]
