John Waldron was President and Chief Operating Officer of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. when he attended the 2023 Bilderberg meeting.
Career
Waldron began his career at Bear Stearns, where he was an analyst in investment banking and met David Solomon, Goldman's current CEO. He joined Goldman in 2000 and became co-head of the investment banking division in 2015 and president and COO in 2018.[1]
In July 2024, it was reported that "John Waldron may never be CEO of Goldman Sachs. After threatening to resign, Waldron has allegedly been sidelined for the top job".[1]
