Helmert Frans van den Hoven was a Dutch businessman.[1][2][3]
Career
van den Hoven joined Unilever in Rotterdam in 1938 and, after working there in various positions, worked in London from 1948 to 1950. From 1951 to 1962, he was stationed in Turkey, from 1958 onward as chairman of Unilever's business in that country.[4]
In 1976 Frans van den Hoven became Chairman of Unilever. In 1984 he left Unilever for ABN Amro Bank. Affiliated to Fidelity International Limited.[5]
