Carlos Cuerpo Caballero is a Spanish economist and politician who attended the 2024 Bilderberg meeting as minister of Economy, Trade and Business.
Background
Born in Badajoz in 1980, he is the son of two secondary school teachers.[1] Part of his childhood was spent between Valle de la Serena and Switzerland, where his parents moved to work when he was nine years old.[2][3]
Education
He graduated in economics from the University of Extremadura in 2003, specializing in macroeconomics. He subsequently obtained a Master's degree in economics at the London School of Economics (LSE) with a specialty in monetary economics. He has a PhD in economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid since 2017.[4][5]
