Brayton Wilbur, Jr was a San Francisco businessman.
Career
In 1964, he joined the Wilbur Ellis Company, a large marketer and distributor of agricultural and industrial products that his father Brayton Wilbur, Sr. had co-founded in 1921. In 1988 he became the company's chairman and CEO and later its chairman.[1]
Wilbur Jr. and his family spent from 1965 to 1970 in Asia where he managed the Bangkok, Thailand and Jakarta, Indonesia offices for Connell Bros., a subsidiary of Wilbur Ellis Company.
He was on the board of the CIA-connected Asia Foundation, founded by his father in 1954 serving consecutively as secretary and chairman, and active on the board of the San Francisco Symphony.
