History

The BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt is a corporate foundation of BMW AG, established by BMW in 1970 to honor the services of Herbert Quandt and the company. According to its website, the foundation inspires and supports people who work for the common good and for a sustainable society. The events “bring together people from politics, business, science, the media and the non-profit sector”.[1] It wants to support the Sustainable Development Goals in the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
