The Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy is an Israeli think tank.
The self-described goal of the IZS is "to preserve Israel as a viable, democratic Jewish state, now and forever." For this purpose, the IZS seeks "to put forward creative policies and programs" for implementation by Israeli politicians and the general public.
"Final settlement"
In October 2023, it published a paper advocating for the "relocation and final settlement of the entire Gaza population." The report advocates "exploiting the current moment" (the October 2023 Gaza−Israel conflict) to accomplish a long-held Zionist goal of moving Palestinians off the land of historic Palestine. The report’s subtitle makes it clear: "There is at the moment a unique and rare opportunity to evacuate the whole Gaza Strip in coordination with the Egyptian government." [1]
