Elliott V. Bell was a financial writer for The New York Times.

Career

On 15 June 1938 Bell co-founded the New York Financial Writers' Association.[1]

Bell managed the two successful gubernatorial campaigns for his friend, Thomas E. Dewey. Bell was appointed Superintendent of Banks for the State of New York in 1943 by then Governor Thomas E. Dewey.[2] Bell was also editor and publisher of BusinessWeek.[3]
