A sex for TV work pyramid scheme, with children and ritual occult practises allegedly led by former Italian president Berlusconi. One whistleblower - Imane Fadil - died suddenly.

The Bunga bunga parties Silvio Berlusconi had in the 2000s (and possibly earlier) were private parties organized on his properties where young women were paid for sex, or could get a position in one of his TV channels in return - according to Imane Fadil; she also reported one instance in which children were present at these parties.

These parties received press focus with the arrest of Karima El Mahroug and her release that Berlusconi facilitated.

Official narrative

A new biography about the controversial former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has gone on sale. My Way: Berlusconi in His Own Words reveals more details about the notorious "bunga bunga" parties held at Mr Berlusconi's Arcore villa near Milan. The book also rebuts allegations he paid for sex with an underage nightclub dancer known as "Ruby the Heart Stealer", a crime for which he was initially convicted but later acquitted on appeal. The BBC took the book to London's Soho, an area with a thriving Italian business community, and asked workers there to pick out their favourite quotes.

Berlusconi’s time in power was marked by various scandals, including infamous sex parties held by the politician. These parties reportedly included orgies, skinny dipping, and stripteases, with the Prime Minister choosing various women to have sexual relations with. One example included "one woman dressed up as President Barack Obama and a prominent Milan prosecutor whom the billionaire media mogul has accused of persecuting him", with at least one girl recruited as 17 year old.

Imane Fadil was a Moroccan photo model who exposed Silvio Berlusconi's sex parties. She stated they were part of a sect that invokes satanic rituals. She died of poisoning in 2019. At the time of her death, she was writing a book about the scandals surrounding Berlusconi's parties and her experiences of the trial around them, with the planned title I met the Devil. At the time of her death Fadil was also a key witness in upcoming trials against Berlusconi in connection to the so-called 'Ruby ter' trial. This time he was being investigated for bribing witnesses in his favor. Berlusconi was later acquitted of judicial corruption.

Etymology
