Council-women in New Jersey shot brutally shot dead for unclear motive.

Eunice Dwumfour was a republican council member. Dwumfour was assassinated by 14 gunshots in 2023 outside her home in Sayreville, New Jersey.

Early Career

After working as emergency technician and business analyst, she was elected - a surprise - to a borough council of the US place of Sayreville. The council-women was a single mother of a 12 year old.[1]

Assassination

Dwumfout was shot 14 times in her SUV by an unknown assailant, with no belongings missing, hinting some kind of deep event to been afoot.[2]

Cover up?

The family of the council-woman hired attorney John Wisniewski, a former member of the state Assembly after they argued that for months the investigation was stalled without any clear reasoning as to why, without suspects or motives.[3]

Arrest

3 months later, a man named Rashid Ali Bynum[4] was arrested on the suspicion of killing Dwumfour. Bynum was a former local member of the Fire Congress Fellowship, a church that Dwumfour had helped for. Neither the prosecutors, neither the local police investigators released any statement detailing any motive.[5][6]
