Natalie Simone Rickli is a Swiss politician of the Swiss People's Party. During the COVID-19 deep event she was health director of Zürich, the most populous canton in Switzerland, responsible for implementing lockdowns and a steadily more forceful COVID-19 jab injection program.
Coming from a party presenting itself as a voice of opposition to the political establishment[1], she was selected a Young Global Leader in 2012 by the World Economic Forum.
Biography
She was elected as member of the National Council of Switzerland from the Canton of Zürich in 2007. In March 2019, she was elected to the Executive Council of Zürich and appointed as the Director of Health.[2][3]
During winter 2020/21, Rickli demanded the population to “stay at home” in their apartments and was against opening the ski resorts. However, during the same period, the health director allowed herself a secret luxury holiday in the Maldives in the Indian Ocean.[4]
In August 2021 she stated:
Anyone who is opposed to vaccination should actually fill out an advance directive in which he confirms that he does not want hospital and ICU treatment in the event of Covid disease.[5]
