The Clermont Set was a deep state group which met at the Clermont Club (founded in 1960 by John Aspinall). Gambling and womanising were common pastimes of its members. "If the original Clermont set were defined by one quality, it was a reckless taste for taking risks."[1]
Deep state connections
Robert Boothby was one of the 68 men who attended the first Bilderberg. Gianni Agnelli was a member of the Bilderberg Steering committee. Ian Fleming was a spook reportedly in charge of the operation to exfiltrate Martin Borman from Germany at the end of WWII. Andrew Cavendish attended Le Cercle. Tiny Rowland was reportedly MI6.
