Griffin has published a number of books on the subject of the September 11 attacks. They present a compelling case for the attacks being to outcome of a conspiracy by elements of the United States government.
An article in the Washington Post on 7 September 2006 which focuses on Dr Griffin and his work, is among the more thoughtful examples of how the commercially-controlled media began to deal with the the 911 Truth Movement once it began to gain real traction.[2]
Richard Gage heard an interview which David Ray Griffin gave Bonnie Faulkner on Guns And Butter, that inspired him to question the events of September 11, 2001, and later go on to found AE911 Truth.
Criticism by Daniel Hopsicker
Daniel Hopsicker has described David Ray Griffin as “a retired professor of theology at a conservative bible college in California who had nothing to say, but said it anyway, in book after book after book... But that of course, was the point. They accomplished nothing. But they made the half-baked “official story” of the 9/11 attack sound almost reasonable.” [3]
