Origins

The Duran was created in May 2016 after Peter Lavelle severed his ties with Russia Insider.[1][2][3]

Activities

Cyprus-based DRN Media PLC owns The Duran, its President and Chairman is Alex Christoforou[4] and its Editor-in-Chief is Alexander Mercouris.[5]

Funding for The Duran comes from Paypal and Patreon donations, as well as advertising.[6]
