Peer Rage

In August 2016, the BoD's Gillian Merron strongly criticised Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s decision to nominate Shami Chakrabarti for a peerage, dismissing her report into antisemitism within the Labour Party as “something of a whitewash”.[1]

"I am very much looking forward to taking my place in the House of Lords.”[2]
