The American Security Council is a Cold War joint CIA-FBI-Pentagon front with extensive ties to death squads, drug trafficking, paedophile entrapment networks and other criminal covert operations.
It is largely[clarification needed] the US branch of the Le Cercle group,[citation needed] though that group was later to switch from a pattern of biannual European meetings to alternative meetings in USA and Europe.
Activities
In 1978 The ACSC founded the Coalition for Peace Through Strength to try to oppose the growing movement towards nuclear disarmament.[1]
The most complete on-line information on the ASC is to be found on Joel Van der Reijden's ISGP website.[2]
Funding
Important funders have included General Dynamics, General Electric, Lockheed, Boeing, Motorola and McDonnell-Douglas. Patrick J. Frawley is believed to have been the most generous individual donor.[3]
