Wikispooks is a volunteer maintained, crowd-sourced undertaking. It does not accept commercial advertising or formal sponsorship of any kind.
It's purpose is clearly set out in the project documentation and does not endear it to the Establishment.
It's running costs are modest but nonetheless real. They are also a bit higher than comparably scaled private web publishing undertakings because of the security, mirroring and back-up infrastructure needed to ensure that the site survives the attentions of those who would prefer it not to.
If you have found the site useful or consider it a worthy undertaking, please help by making a donation towards its running costs.

Provides substantial anonymity to the donor (see the Bitcoin site for details of this emerging crypto-currency).
