Franklin Lamb was an US academic and activist[1]
Education
Lamb got his Law Degree at Boston University and his LLM, M.Phil, and PhD degrees at the London School of Economics.[2]
Career
Lamb was a former Assistant Counsel of the US House Judiciary Committee and Professor of International Law at Northwestern College of Law, Portland, Oregon.[2]
Following three years at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Lamb was visiting fellow at the Harvard Law School's East Asian Legal Studies Center.
Lamb was the author of several books, including Israel’s 1982 War in Lebanon, International Legal Responsibility for the Sabra-Shatila Massacre, The Price We Pay and Syria’s Endangered Heritage: An international Responsibility to Protect and Preserve.[2]
Dr Lamb was a visiting Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law, Damascus University and volunteers with the Sabra-Shatila Scholarship Program.
He, like his media outlet Counterpunch, supported "moderate rebels" of the 2011 regime change in Syria, increasingly so over the years[3], defending the White Helmets[4][5]
