Career
Greenberg was director of the New York Federal Reserve bank (1988-1995); deputy chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in 1996; major investor in the Blackstone Group.
9/11
Maurice Greenberg was CEO of American International Group on 9-11, which had become co-owner of Kroll Associates in 1993 and was a major share-holder in Marsh & McLennan (run on 9-11 by Maurice's son Jeffrey Greenberg).[1]
