Bolivia is important in the production of cocaine for export. In 2008, Bolivian President Evo Morales kicked out the US ambassador and the DEA. Since then, Bolivia managed to reduce coca leaf cultivation drastically. According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, total production of dried coca leaf fell 11 percent [1] from 2013 to 2014, and has fallen by an average of nearly 10 percent each year since 2011 [2] "I could mention many countries in the world where there is this problem and how it has grown with U.S. presence.
