Career
Death
The 23 December 1912 New York Times headlined a 2 column article "Walter Page Dies At Pagehurst", with the text: "Sacrificed his health as Americt's [sic.] Ambassador to Britain During War". The article wrote that Page had resigned as ambassador due to ill health, returned to US on October 12 "in a critical condition", apparently rallied but "grew weaker" before peacefully passing away. It did not mention the nature of the illness or cause of death.[2]
