Interviewing Margarita
In March 2024, Steve Rosenberg interviewed RT's boss Margarita Simonyan and asked why there was no serious opponent to Vladimir Putin in the Russian presidential election. She responded:
- "Is there a need for a serious opponent?
- "Why do you always think that the way you live is better than the way we live?"
- Best part – "We're not you, and we don't like you much".[2]
