"Sheeple" (German schlafschafe[1]) is a derogatory portmanteau of "sheep" and "people". It is an exonym used by people who have understood the readiness of others to be led, typically by a tyrannical government intent on setting up a mass surveillance technological control grid that is totalitarian.
