Romas/COIN is the acronym of a US SIGINT program for mass surveillance and data mining, in operation against the Arab world through 2009 - 2011. It has been replaced by a program with enhanced capabilities with the acronym "Odyssey". The initial reporting was done by Barrett Brown and published on the Project PM website in June 2011, which provided an overview with information on some of the firms that were involved in pursuing the contract throughout 2010 and early 2011.[1][2]
