Official narrative
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is an independent agency to assist the Director of National Intelligence. Wikipedia reports its goal is as "to effectively integrate foreign, military and domestic intelligence in defense of the homeland and of United States interests abroad."[1] The budget for the ODNI – and the Intelligence Community for fiscal year 2013 is $52.6 billion[2] and the base request for fiscal year 2014 was $48.2 billion.[3]
