Nuno Sebastião is the founder and CEO of Feedzai, a data science company that develops artificial intelligence tools and advanced biometrics to monitor payment transactions and minimize fraud risk in the financial services, retail, and e-commerce industries. He attended the 2022 and 2023 Bilderberg meetings.
Education
He has degree from the University of Coimbra and a MBA from London Business School.[1]
Career
Sebastião was an engineer for the European Space Agencyfrom 2006 until 2010. [2] In 2011, Sebastião, along with his fellow co-founders Paulo Marques and Pedro Bizarro, founded Feedzai.[1]
In August 2021, Feedzai acquired behavioural biometric platform Revelocsays. According to Feedzai, the combination will create "a vault of more than a trillion data points, sessions, and profiles of both good and bad actors. Revelock’s technology is capable of detecting the subtle changes in user behavior - such as differences in how you hold your phone or how quickly you navigate a banking app - and predict whether a session should or shouldn’t be trusted."[3]
In March 2025, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Nuno Sebastiao hosted a "fireside chat on advancing artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential to build a fair, secure, and inclusive future."[4]
