Josée Forest-Niesing was a Canadian lawyer and politician.
Political career
She was appointed to the Senate by Justin Trudeau in 2018.
Forest-Niesing was hospitalised with COVID-19 in October 2021. She had an autoimmune condition affecting her lungs, which increased her vulnerability to the virus. She was discharged on 14 November, but died a few days later on 20 November 2021, at the age of 56.[1]
