US insurance executive and consultant to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board. Attended the 1957 February Bilderberg.

Frazar Bullard Wilde was a US financier who attended the February 1957 Bilderberg meeting.

Career

Wilde joined Connecticut General Life Insurance Company, which became part of the Cigna Corporation, in 1914. At the age of 41, he became the company's fourth president. Under his leadership, Connecticut General became a major force in the insurance industry.[1]

He was policy committee chairman of the Committee for Economic Development in 1955.[2]

He was chairman of the United States Commission on Money and Credit in 1961 and was a consultant to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board. In 1965, he was appointed to the Advisory Committee on International Monetary Arrangements.[1]
