Dirk W Lachenmeier is Certified Food Chemist, Toxicologist and Head of the Department of Plant-Based Foods at the Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Laboratory (CVUA) of Karlsruhe, which is a governmental food, medicine and alcohol control authority.
