Maggie Throup replaced Nadhim Zahawi as UK/Minister for Covid Vaccine Deployment in September 2021. She is an obscure Member of Parliament and had a career in science before entering politcs.[1]

Career

Throup was a biomedical scientist and business consultant.

She was elected to Parliament in the UK/General election/2015

She became a Whip in 2019.

She was appointed UK/Minister for Covid Vaccine Deployment in September 2021. In her announcement tweet, she committed to Build Back Better.[2] She has taken a low profile, and has been criticised by Labour for not promoting booster shots.[3]
