Populism is a pejorative term used in corporate media and the Establishment in order to label political competitors, linking it to a variety of different negative meanings.[1]

Real meaning
People's opinions on political and economic matters are actually heard.
The corporate media is unable to understand it, or report on populist movements honestly. The Establishment derides populism as "racist", "fascist" etc.
