German sociologist known for his publications and the idea to send people to Madagascar |
Heinz Bude is a German sociologist and psychologist who was involved in the creation of the fear strategy paper of the German Ministry of the Interior in 2020.[1] During 2021 he became known for an interview in which he said he wanted to ship 10 million non-vaccinated German adults to Madagascar, an idea that is reminiscent of the proposal during Hitlerian Germany to send the Jews to that same island.[2][3][4]

"Flatten the curve" | “[...] to betray secrets again .. we said we have to find a model, to generate compliance, which is a little bit "science-like", and that was this formula "flatten the curve". We talked, how is it possible to convince the people to go along? We told them -this [the model] looks like science right?- if you are disciplined, you can change the curve. There is a visualization of individual changes to one's behavior in a way that it connects to science.” | 27 February 2024 |
