"Dr. Dimitris K. Xenakis is Strategic Analyst at the Defence Analysis Institute of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence. He teaches International Relations and Euro-Mediterranean Affairs at the Department of Politics, University of Crete, and holds an Honorary Research Fellowship from the School of Historical, Political and Sociological Studies of the University of Exeter, UK. He is the author of The Politics of Order-Building in Europe and the Mediterranean, Defence Analysis Institute, 2003, and co-author of The emerging Euro-Mediterranean system, Manchester University Press, 2001 (with D. N. Chryssochoou). He has published articles in numerous academic journals, including Perceptions, The Review of International Affairs, Mediterranean Quarterly, The Cyprus Review, Hellenic Studies, Cambridge Review of International Affairs."[2]
