Dr. Silvija Seres is a Norwegian business consultant who describes herself as an "academic techie with a past in corporate leadership, a present in entrepreneurial investment, and a future in large-scale digital transformation processes in public and private sector."[1]

Sitting on many boards, Seres attended the Bilderberg for the first time in 2019, before being appointed to NATO's high-level advisory board on innovation and disruptive technologies in 2020.

Career

She has worked extensively as a manager of tech startups.[1] She has worked as a system developer and researcher with AltaVista, as well as as a business developer and manager in Norway. She was director of business development at the IT company Fast Search & Transfer, and later held a similar position in the Norwegian division of Microsoft, following the company's acquisition of Fast.

As of 2018, she sits on the board of a number of public and private companies, including NRK, DNV GL, the Oslo Stock Exchange, Academedia and Nordea Insurance. She is a member of the corporate assembly of Telenor and has been a member of several government committees, including Digital 21. She has previously been on the boards of Opera Software, Dagbladet, Statkraft, the publisher Aschehoug and Transparency International[2], Technology Council and Alarga. Seres is president of the Polytechnic Society.

In 2020, she was appointed a member of NATO's high-level advisory board on innovation and disruptive technologies.[3]
