Echoing the islamophobic official narrative, Paul Joseph Watson asked after the 2016 Mass murder in Brussels asked "How many Europeans need to be slaughtered before we acknowledge that Islam is not a “religion of peace”? How many blood-stained bodies and limbs need to be strewn across airports and metro stations before we admit that Islam has a problem with violence?"

Censorship

In May 2019, Facebook censored Watson, as did Instagram, stating that "We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology."
